Let’s start with the green area around the hotel where nothing is wasted. Every year, thousands of liters of rainwater flow to the reservoir with the garden irrigation system instead of the sewage system, thanks to which we can perfectly use rainwater in the garden, which also translates into lower consumption of drinking water, which is the most scarce commodity on our planet,
and at the same time, it is plants-friendly. Rainwater not only properly irrigates the plants but also provides them with ingredients that are found in the best nutrients.

The well-kept hotel garden pleases not only the eye, but it is also an ideal place where you can relax and calm down.

Activities protecting the environment also reached hotel rooms, where they included hotel cosmetics understood in two aspects, both their packaging and the cosmetic itself. The cosmetics used in our hotel are not tested on animals and their packaging is fully biodegradable, and thanks to the mounted wall holders for reusable containers, we can completely move away from disposable cosmetics, thus reducing the amount of waste.

Towels and bed linen during the stay of guests are changed on request – which is already a standard in most hotels. We, however, go a step further and give them a second life.

Hotel linen used in hotel rooms, in the event of damage, staining, or other defects that affects the aesthetics and comfort of use, gets a second life. Bed linen is often reduced and hemmed and returned to the Nursing Home, while towels are reused for various purposes by housekeeping staff during cleaning activities.

Taking care of our present and future, the hotel uses LED lighting and installed photocells reduce electricity consumption.

The hotel is not only a place to sleep but also a good cuisine and a place created for relaxation – therefore,
in order to meet the highest safety and quality standards, filtration and water treatment systems have been installed, which also allows our guests to use filtered water simply from the tap.

Another issue is the taste of various dishes and drinks, which is largely determined by the quality of the water and the level of its mineralization. Properly treated, i.e. filtered and softened water is a guarantee of exceptional taste. Water treatment devices enable the use of a smaller amount of various types of cleaning agents and lower energy consumption. Relaxation, which is an indispensable part of the trip, often involves the use of the SPA zone, which includes saunas and jacuzzi. In order to minimize energy consumption, this zone is activated only at the clear request of the Guests.

ECOLOGY

Although we have been segregating waste from the very beginning of the hotel’s existence, this time we decided to encourage our guests to do so too. For this purpose, waste containers with appropriate compartments have been placed in public areas, and the suites have been equipped with garbage cans for segregation. The next step is proper storage of waste – squeezing the bottle or cardboard saves a lot of space.
